About
Does this look like some of the selfies/ faces you’ve made over the years? ->
This was me in 2016, I had just done my aesthetics training, but I ‘couldn’t do it’ because I believed that I wasn’t good enough.
Why?
Because I had been told this throughout my career. Feeling like I wasn’t good enough from GCSEs all the way to graduating from Uni.
Guess what…
It was ME who was telling myself this. It was my own internal dialogue. MY belief that I wasn’t good enough to be able to create my own aesthetics business AND earn money.

Starting my journey in the heart of Newcastle upon Tyne, I navigated my way through the challenging world of dentistry with a determination rooted in a deep-seated passion for patient care. After graduating from Leeds University in 2013 and gaining valuable experience at Hull Royal Infirmary’s Max Fax department.
When in practice dentistry I quickly realised that my I wanted something more — something that resonated with my core.
This realisation led me to the vibrant and fulfilling world of aesthetics, a field where the blend of artistry and patient interaction was exhilaratingly different from anything I had experienced in dentistry.
My initial steps into aesthetics were hesitant, shadowed by the fear of making mistakes, but driven by my love for the way I felt when treating patients, I persisted.
The journey wasn’t easy — rebranding, redefining my ethos, understanding my dream client — but it was worth every moment. Now, leading a flourishing three-room clinic with a team of skilled injectors and a diary full of appointments, I’ve found my autonomy, my niche, my passion.
I did it
I made the leap and booked my first aesthetics course. I loved every minute of it. However, I came out of the course thinking… where do I go now? So, guess what… I didn’t do anything with it; I went back to dentistry and carried on stressing about making my money back that I had paid for this course.
I was having an AWFUL time in NHS dentistry, with legislation around every corner, emotional burnout and general frustration. I was getting married, so I decided to retrain myself and hone my skills. I fell in love again. I built my brand (it took ages) and advertised at a tattoo convention.
I had worked in salons and hairdressers, so JUST as covid hit, I opened my own studio space in Newcastle. I then applied to train with Acquisition Aesthetics. This was the turning point for me.
I have left dentistry. I am doing what I love, with the people I love. I help practitioners who want to get out of the NHS but do not know the steps.
